SYDNEY, Sept 26 (AFP) - Ashot Danielyan of Armenia set a new world record for the snatch in the Olympic men's weightlifting 105kg and over category final here Tuesday.

Danielyan lifted 207.5kg, beating the previous best of 206kg set in November last year.
