SYDNEY, Sept 26 (AFP) - Iran's Hossein Rezazadeh set a new world record for the snatch in the Olympic men's weightlifting 105kg and over category final here Tuesday.

Rezazadeh lifted 212.5kg, beating the previous best of 210kg set earlier in the competition by Ronny Weller of Germany.
