SYDNEY, Sept 30 (AFP) - Russia's Yelena Yelesina won the Olympic women's high jump gold here on Saturday.

Hestrie Cloete of South Africa took the silver while Sweden's Kajsa Bergqvist and Oana Manuela Pantelimon of Romania both won bronze medals after finishing tied.
