SYDNEY, Oct 1 (AFP) - Birgit Fischer and Katrin Wagner of Germany won the canoeing women's pairs kayak 500m gold medal here Sunday. The silver medal went to Katalin Kovacs and Szilvia Szabo of Hungary and the bronze to Aneta Pastuszka and Beata Sokolowska of Poland.
