On a slow day for the tabloids, the Guardian‘s new math made for the most conversation-sparking cover: Is Team GB actually ahead of the U.S.? (Only if you refuse to count multiple medals in one sport.)

The Times’ souvenir edition went with boxer Nicola Adams, who’s fighting for gold later today:

Technical difficulties led to my tabloid shots getting lost, so these (of the Star and Mail had to be yanked from the Web. Nice work by the Star to milk another Jess Ennis cover out of the mere fact she’s competing again in 2016. The Star had to settle for cyclists kissing. A truly slow day.
