SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- Australian first grade rugby league player Ben MacDougall has been suspended for 22 matches after pleading guilty to a steroid charge.

MacDougall's brother Adam is one of four other top level players who received suspensions for returning positive tests this year.

Ben MacDougall, a center with Western Suburbs, tested positive on April 8 and waived his right to a hearing by pleading guilty, the Australian Rugby League announced Monday.
