JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) -- Henry Honiball kicked five penalties and three conversions and helped rally the Coastal Sharkes from a 13-0 deficit to a 36-20 Super 12 victory over the Golden Cats on Saturday.

Penalties in the third and sixth minutes by Pieter O'Neill and a converted try by Jannie van der Walt in the ninth spotted the Cats to the early lead.

But Honiball slowly started the Sharks comeback with penalties of his own in the 13th, 23rd and 26th minutes before Andre Joubert turned the match around.

The veteran fullback kicked ahead and Stephen Brink collected the ball to touch down in the 35th minute to give the Sharks a 16-13 halftime lead and the momentum.

They used the advantage to increase the lead two minutes into the second half. Center Joe Gillingham started the break and Stefan Terblanche and No. 8 Gary Teichmann aided play before lock Steve Atherton rounded off the effort with the try and Honiball converted to put the Sharks in control 23-13.

The Cats attempted a rally of their their own when left wing Lourens Venter intercepted a lofted pass from Honiball and scored under the posts.

But it was the Cats' last gasp.

Honiball increased the lead with penalties in the 63rd and 71st minutes, and then finished off the Cats when replacement lock John Slade drove his way over in the final minute.
