Blues win on Cashmore's boot

HAMILTON, New Zealand (AP) -- Adrian Cashmore booted four penalty goals and two converts as the Auckland Blues beat the Waikato Chiefs 29-18 in a rugby union Super 12 match at Rugby Park on Friday.

It was Auckland's first win in four matches, while Waikato lost its fourth in a row.

The Blues, who led 9-8 at halftime, got tries from Rua Tipoki and Xavier Rush while Dylan Mika and Walter Little scored the two Waikato tries. Matthew Cooper converted one of the Chiefs tries and kicked two penalties.
