CANBERRA, Australia (AP) -- The ACT Brumbies ran in 10 unanswered tries Saturday night to beat South Africa's Northern Bulls 73-9 in a Super 12 rugby union match.

Fullback Joe Roff scored 22 points for the Brumbies from two tries, two penalty goals and three conversions before limping off late in the game with what looked like a recurrence of an ankle injury.

Wallaby halfback George Gregan and center Rod Kafer also scored two tries apiece with Kafer having an outstanding game by assisting in three other tries.

The Brumbies led 23-9 at halftime with the Bulls staying in the game thanks to the boot of Franco Smith.

But the second half proved to be a procession for the homeside as they ran in seven more tries against the Bulls, who have lost all five games this season.
