She was named the New Jersey Atlantic Conference player of the week for the third consecutive week and leads the league with 59 points in nine games.

Elek, a freshman goaltender at Amherst, made a tournament-record 65 saves in a 2-1 triple-overtime victory as the Cardinals won their first New England Small College Athletic Conference championship. She was the NESCAC rookie of the year and was the only freshman named a second-team All-America.

Dynasty, an eighth-grader at Grand Blanc West Middle School, set a Michigan indoor track record in the 400 meters, running a time of 56.02 seconds in a meet against high school athletes. She also established two AAU youth national records in the 200 (26.38 seconds) and the 400 (57.48).
