Lancos, a recent graduate of Middletown High School North, was named first-team all-state after scoring four goals and having nine assists while starring on defense as a sweeper. She was the state player of the year as a junior and is on the U.S. under-20 national team.

Alexandra, a senior at Culver Girls Academy, won the state championship for the third time after finishing third as a freshman. She completed the 5K course in 18:21.8 to win by 16.4 seconds and had previously won in 17:58, the best time in Indiana this season. She lost only two races in her high school career.

Calvi, a freshman goaltender at Bentley, leads Atlantic Hockey with a 2.40 goals-against average and is second with a .924 save percentage; he was the rookie of the month and goaltender of the month in October and December, respectively, of 2007, and had his first shutout in his third career start.

McAuley, a fifth-year running back at Western Ontario, ran for 1,013 yards and 13 touchdowns in the eight-game regular season and led the Mustangs to the Yates Cup as Ontario champions. His 40 career rushing TDs rank third in Canadian Interuniversity Sport, and he had a school record 3,555 career rushing yards.

Brianne, a senior setter at Amarillo High, led the Lady Sandies to a 91-2 record and consecutive Class 5A titles; she was named the state tournament MVP, Class 5A-4A player of the year and Gatorade's Texas player of the year in her junior and senior seasons. She averaged 9.25 assists and 2.07 kills this fall.

Bush, a junior goalkeeper at Middlebury, did not allow a goal in the five-game Division III tournament as he led the Panthers to a national title. A first-team All-America, he had 13 shutouts in 19 starts and ended the year on a 623-minute scoreless streak. His 0.32 goals-against average ranked third nationally.
