Zack, a senior first baseman at Hidden Valley High, won the International High School Power Showcase Home Run Derby with two rounds of eight homers at Tropicana Field. Last year he hit .437 with 10 homers and 43 RBIs and led the Titans to the Group AA final.

Castillo, a sophomore at Florida, scored a 39.575 to win the all-around and help the No. 3 Gators beat No. 6 LSU 197.925-196.325 and achieve the nation's highest team total of 2008. Last year she was third in all-around at the NCAA championships and won the SEC floor exercise title.

Tyler, a senior at Souhegan High, won the 600 meters at the Class I-M-S championship; in '07 she won the 1,000 in 3:02.00, a personal best. As a lacrosse midfielder she scored 36 goals and had 28 assists last spring as the Sabers reached the state title game; she was named a first-team All-America by US Lacrosse.

Prosper, a freshman center at SUNY-Old Westbury, had a rare triple double of 18 points, 13 rebounds and 14 blocks and also dunked the winning basket with one second remaining in the Panthers' 73-71 win over Mount Saint Mary. He was Skyline Conference rookie of the week.

Alli, a senior outside hitter at Mercy Academy, had 574 kills and a .500 hitting percentage as the 38-4 Jaguars reached the state semifinals; she was named to the Junior Olympic 17-Open all-tournament team and the All-America teams of Prepvolleyball.com and the AAU. She plans to attend South Florida.

Gavin, a senior at Pittsburgh, is the No. 1-ranked 174-pound wrestler, with a 26-0 record and wins at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational and the Midlands Championships. A runner-up at last year's NCAA championships, he has 113 career wins.
