Chris, a senior at Chatham High, won state titles in the 100-yard backstroke (49.67 seconds) and 200-yard individual medley (1:50.43) at the New Jersey championship, setting meet records in both. He will swim the 100-meter backstroke at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

Anderson, a senior at Illinois Wesleyan, ran the 400 meters in 55.66 seconds for her third straight Division III indoor title in the event and anchored the winning 4x400 meter relay as the Titans won their first women's national title in any sport. As a sophomore she was the national outdoor 400 meters champ.

Murphree, a senior designated hitter, first baseman and outfielder at Arkansas, set a school record by homering in six straight games; he was national player of the week. During that span he hit a total of 10 home runs, with 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He batted .447 with 12 homers and 28 RBIs in his first 12 games.

Paez, a senior outfielder at Florida Gulf Coast, is batting .391 and leads the Atlantic Sun Conference in home runs (17) and RBIs (48). In the Eagles' first year of Division I competition she has twice been league player of the week. Last season she set the Division II record for home runs, with 28.

Dudek, a junior point guard at the Stevens Institute of Technology, had three triple doubles this season and averaged 12.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.4 steals for the 24-6 Ducks. Her assists led Division III, and she was named Empire 8 player of the year.

Kosgei, a sophomore at Hamilton, won the mile and the 800 meters at the Division III indoor championships despite having fewer than 90 minutes rest between races. A four-time All-America, he won an outdoor title in the steeplechase in 2007 and was the runner-up at the cross-country championships that year.
