Mason King
NAKNEK, ALASKA > Basketball

Mason, a senior at Bristol Bay High, was the top scorer in the Class 2A tournament with 99 points in three games, including 44 in a 71-70 semifinal win over Point Hope. He is the Anchorage Daily News Class 1A/2A boys' player of the year.

Brittney Reese
GULFPORT, MISS. > Track and Field

Reese, a junior at Mississippi, won the long jump (22' 2 1/4") at the Division I indoor championship, becoming the first Lady Rebel to win a national title. She also finished third in the high jump (6' 1 1/4") and was named All-America in both events. She was second in the long jump at last year's outdoor championship.

Abby Gauthier
LYNN, MASS. > Hockey

Abby, a senior forward at St. Mary's High, is the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association's alltime leading scorer (girls or boys) with 358 points (179 goals, 179 assists). She had 42 goals and 48 assists this year to lead the Spartans to the Division 1 title.

Jordan Oliver
EASTON, PA. > Wrestling

Jordan, a senior in the 130-pound class at Easton Area High, went 40-0 and won his third consecutive state title to finish his career with a District 11-record 175 wins against five losses. Ranked No. 1 nationally in his weight class, he has not allowed a takedown since December of his sophomore year.

Rory Quiller
WEST POINT, N. Y. > Track and Field

Quiller, a graduate student at SUNY Binghamton, cleared 18' 1/2" to win the pole vault at the Division I indoor championship after finishing second in 2007. A three-time All-America and five-time qualifier for the indoor and outdoor NCAA meets, he is the Bearcats' first Division I champion.

Shelbey Spencer and Casey Whitaker
SPARTANBURG, S.C. > Softball

Shelbey (far left), a junior at Broome High, threw a perfect game, and Casey, a freshman second baseman, hit for the cycle with six RBIs in a win over Blacksburg. Shelbey is 10-2 with four no-hitters, and Casey is batting .429.
