Kevin Brady
GAITHERSBURG, MD. > Baseball

Kevin, a righthanded pitcher and recent graduate of Gaithersburg High, was 7-0 with a 0.29 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 48.1 innings; the two-time Washington Post All-Met was named player of the year. As a junior he threw three no-hitters and a perfect game.

Amy Rodriguez
LAKE FOREST, CALIF. > Soccer

Rodriguez, a senior forward at USC, has 22 caps and five goals for the U.S. national team. This fall she scored 10 goals while helping lead the Trojans to the national title; she was the tournament's most outstanding offensive player. She is a member of the U.S. Olympic soccer team.

Jordan Clarke
ANCHORAGE > Track and Field

Jordan, a recent graduate of Bartlett High, put the shot 71' 3" to win his third Class 4A championship -- it was the longest toss by a high school athlete this year. He also won his third discus title at the state meet with a throw of 176' 3" and the Golden West Invitational with a throw of 204 feet.

Nancy Rios
COCONUT GROVE, FLA. > Sailing

Rios, 20, won the U.S. Olympic Trials in windsurfing to qualify for Beijing. She has been the top-ranked American since 2006 and won six out of eight races that year at the US Sailing pretrials event. She was fifth at the '07 Pan American Games and was the top U.S. finisher in January's world championship.

Randall Carroll
LOS ANGELES > Football and Track and Field

Randall, a senior next year at Cathedral High, won the 100 (10.42) and the 200 (20.91) meters at the California state championship. A Rivals.com five-star football recruit, he ran the ball 47 times for 576 yards last fall, caught 56 passes for 745 yards and scored 14 touchdowns.

Jessica Sorrentino
BELLMORE, N.Y. > Softball

Sorrentino, an outfielder and recent graduate of Rochester, set an NCAA record by scoring five runs in the Yellowjackets' 11-0 win over Penn State -- Behrend in the Division III playoffs. An All-America, she batted .422 with 42 runs and 42 RBIs in 42 games and had 11 home runs.
