L.B., a senior at Westminster High, set a state record of 177' 9" in the discus to help the Wildcats win the Georgia Class AA title. His record throw topped his personal best by 12 feet. He was also the state Class AA heavyweight wrestling champion, going 51-1 with 40 pins. He has committed to North Carolina for wrestling.

Michelle Cabassol
MONTGOMERY, TEXAS > Diving

Michelle, a sophomore at Montgomery High, won the women's platform event and teamed with Kaylea Arnett to win the synchronized platform at the Speedo USA Diving Spring National Championships. One week later Michelle took bronze in the platform competition at the FINA Grand Prix Canada Cup, her first senior-level international meet.

Nick LaRoy
KALAMA, WASH. > Baseball

Nick, a junior pitcher at Kalama High, threw three no-hitters and finished the regular season with an 8-0 record and an 0.38 ERA. The lefthander struck out 90 batters in 37 innings and pitched a three-hitter against the No. 2 team in the state, Castle Rock High, in the regular-season finale. Nick, who also played first base and outfield, batted .500 with 21 RBIs.

Joey Lye
SCARBOROUGH, ONT. > Softball

Lye, a senior shortstop at Williams College, led Division III batters with a .563 average through Sunday and was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference player of the year. A three-time all-conference selection, she holds school career records for batting average (.457), runs (150), hits (211), total bases (267) and stolen bases (62).

Denard Robinson
DEERFIELD BEACH, FLA. > Track and Field

Denard, a senior at Deerfield Beach High, won the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Class 4A regional meet and for the second year in a row anchored the 4x100 relay team to victory at the state meet. The Bucks' time of 40.64 seconds was the second fastest in the nation this year. Denard, who also plays quarterback, signed to play football at Michigan.

Kristen Coleman
POTOMAC, MD. > Lacrosse

Coleman, a sophomore at Fairfield University, was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's offensive player of the year for the second straight season. She had 88 points, two shy of the single-season school record she set as a freshman, and her two-year total of 178 left her two short of the career scoring record. The Stags went to their first NCAA tournament.
