Jared Sullinger
COLUMBUS, OHIO > Basketball

Jared, a senior forward at Northland High, scored 32 points, including two free throws with :04 left, to lead the Vikings to a 53–52 win that ended then national No. 1 Findlay Prep's 45-game winning streak. He also had 17 rebounds and two blocks. At week's end Jared was averaging 21.6 points and 14 rebounds. As a junior he was Ohio's Mr. Basketball.

Cody Garcia
HUTCHINSON, KANS. > Wrestling

Garcia, a senior at Nebraska-Omaha, went 4-0 in the NWCA National Duals to extend his season unbeaten streak and help the Mavericks repeat as champs of their tournament division. Through Sunday he was 33-0 and ranked No. 2 at 133 pounds in NCAA Division II. Garcia, the school's all-time pins leader (76), was an NCAA champion at 125 pounds in 2006 and '08.

Johannah Leedham
ELLESMERE PORT, ENGLAND > Basketball

Leedham, a senior forward at Franklin Pierce, became the Northeast-10 Conference's all-time scoring leader while getting 28 points in a 65-52 win over New Haven. Through Sunday her career total was 2,525 and she was the top scorer this season (26.0) in NCAA Division II. Leedham also holds conference career records for steals (379) and free throws (618).

Emily Lipari
GREENVALE, N.Y. > Track and Field

Emily, a senior at Roslyn High, won the invitational mile at the New York-area Hispanic Games, edging Aisling Cuffe of Cornwall High at the finish. The winning time of 4:54.76 was the fastest high school girls' indoor mile this season. Emily is a three-time state Class A outdoor champion in the 3,000 meters and a two-time Class A cross-country champion.

Jerry D'Amigo
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. > Ice Hockey

D'Amigo, a freshman forward at Rensselaer Polytechnic, had a goal and an assist in the third period to help the U.S. defeat Canada 6-5 in overtime in the final of the world junior championship in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He led the U.S. in goals (six) and was twice named the team's player of the game, once after scoring two goals in a 5-2 semifinal win over Sweden.

Maddie Martin
TAMPA > Volleyball

Maddie, a senior outside hitter at Plant High, had seven kills to lead Team Red to a 3-0 win over Team White in the Under Armour All-America Volleyball Match. She was her team's MVP. Maddie was the Gatorade player of the year in Florida and helped Plant win its fourth straight state title. She has signed to play for three-time defending NCAA champion Penn State.
