Ariana, a sophomore at Long Beach Poly, anchored the defending champions to a come-from-behind win in the 4×100 meters at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia (46.35 seconds). She received the baton in fourth place and crossed the tape to win by .14, as the Jackrabbits became the first U.S. girls' team to repeat as event champions in the meet's 118-year history. Ariana also had the top American long jump finish (third place) and was named high school girls' athlete of the meet for relay events.

Cabral, a senior and team captain at Princeton, won the Ivy League Heptagonal 10K and steeple-chase to lead the Tigers to their second straight triple crown-championship titles in each running season: cross-country and indoor and outdoor track. A week earlier at the Penn Relays he anchored Princeton to a victory in the distance medley relay (4:05.8 in the final 1,600 meters) and a repeat win in the 4 x mile (3:59.9 split) to be named college men's athlete of the meet for relay events.

Rebekah, a sophomore at Cornerstone Christian School (Manchester, Conn.) won the varsity open championship class at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association's nationals at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse to earn the IEA Leading Hunt Seat Rider of the Year title. Rebekah, who competes for Windcrest Equestrian Team, rode a gelding sport horse named Grady to defeat eight other riders in combined scoring in the equitation-over-fences and on-the-flat finals.

Collin, a senior goalie from Pioneer High (Ann Arbor, Mich.), stopped all 27 shots he faced in a 7-0 finals win over Sweden at the men's world under-18 championships in Brno, Czech Republic, for the U.S.'s fourth straight tournament gold. Collin, who had three shutouts and allowed only four goals in five games, was named Team USA's player of the game and received the Directorate Award for best tournament goaltender.

Heather, a senior righthander at Hebron High, led a sweep of Bell High in the Class 5A area playoffs, striking out 12 and allowing one earned run in a 4-1 win, then fanning 13 in a 2-1 two-hitter with no earned runs. Heather, who led the Hawks to their first state tournament in 2010, hit four homers in a win over Pilot Point High in March to become the first Texas girl and 14th ever to accomplish the feat. She has a 1.42 ERA and 14 home runs, through Sunday. Next year she will compete at Baylor.

Williamson, a senior at Dartmouth, won his second straight individual Ivy League championship, and the third of his career, by eight strokes with an even-par 213 in three rounds at the Galloway (N.J.) National Golf Club. He is just the second golfer in Ivy history to win the event three times. Williamson, ranked 33rd among college men in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings, was named the conference player of the year for the third time and All-Ivy for the fourth straight season.
