Bethany Wu
Diamond Bar, Calif. > Golf

Bethany, a sophomore at Diamond Bar High, shot a 10-under-par 206 over 54 holes to win the Annika Invitational at Reunion Resort in Orlando by three strokes. She was the first golfer in event history to be in the red by double digits. In November, Bethany shot a three-under 69 to win the 2012 CIF Southern Section individual championship and led the Brahmas to a second-place finish in the state team tournament. She is ranked second among junior girls in the AJGA rankings.

Dederick Lee
Clarksville, Ark > Basketball

Dederick, a 6-foot-2 senior guard at Clarksville High, had a season-high 29 points in a 75-69 win over Harrison High to become the third player in Arkansas high school history to surpass the 2,500-point milestone. Last season he helped Clarksville repeat as the state 4A champion. Now competing in Class 5A, the Panthers were 16-3 at week's end, and Dederick was scoring 17.9 points per game and has 2,559 career points. He will play for Oral Roberts next season..

Erin O'Neil
Minnetonka, Minn. > Ice Hockey

Erin, a junior goaltender at Hopkins High, made 45 saves in a 3-1 win over the top-ranked team in Class AA, Minnetonka High, which outshot the Royals 46-8. Among Minnesota goalies with at least 1,000 minutes between the posts through Sunday, she was fourth with both a 1.70 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage. Erin, who has helped Hopkins to a 16-6-2 start, has had six shutouts this season. She is also the two-year starting catcher on the softball team.

Clay Eaton
Findlay, Ohio > Football

Eaton, a 6-foot-1, 233-pound senior defensive end at Division III Oberlin, finished the season with a nation-leading 1.70 sacks per game and 17 total sacks, a school record. In a 30-6 win over Denison in October he had a season-high three sacks and had three tackles for loss to break the program's career TFL record. (He finished with 58.) The North Coast Athletic Conference defensive player of the year and an All-America, Eaton is also the Yeomen's alltime sacks (36.5) leader.

Brianna Rollins
Miami > Track and Field

Rollins, a redshirt junior at Clemson, won the 60-meter hurdles at Clemson's Tiger Challenge with an NCAA-record time of 7.78, breaking the mark (set by Southern Cal's Ginnie Powell in 2006) by .06 of a second. Her victory helped Clemson's women's team retain its No. 1 ranking from the USTFCCCA. Rollins, who won a national title for the 60-meter hurdles in 2011, advanced to the 100 hurdles final at last summer's Olympic trials and finished sixth. She is a three-time All-American.

Nick Emery
Highland, Utah > Basketball

Nick, a senior guard at Lone Peak High, scored 13 points in a 67-42 win over American Fork High to become the Knights' alltime scoring leader, while his teammate Eric Mika, a senior center (below), added a team-high 16 points. Both bound for BYU, they have helped the back-to-back 5A state champs (17-1 at week's end) beat defending California state champ Archbishop Mitty (81-46) at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., and climb to No. 3 in the ESPN and USA Today rankings.

Eric Mika
Highland, Utah > Basketball

Eric, a senior center who transferred to Lone Peak High this year, scored a team-high 16 points in a 67-42 win over American Fork High, while teammate Nick Emery, a senior guard, had 13 points to become the Knights' alltime scoring leader,. Both bound for BYU, they have helped the back-to-back 5A state champs (17-1 at week's end) beat defending California state champ Archbishop Mitty (81-46) at the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., and climb to No. 3 in the ESPN and USA Today rankings. Eric also won the dunk contest at Hoophall.
