Now it's actually sports-related

As we discussed here on Friday, A-Rod's alleged blonde bombshell Joslyn Morse attended Regis HS in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, not to be confused with my alma mater of the same name in Manhattan. Now several readers have pointed out that the Iowa Regis is also the alma mater of former Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner and 2007 Masters champ Zach Johnson. (You can bet that the God-fearing Kurt and equally God-fearing Zach are bragging to all their friends.) Alas, the school doesn't exist anymore. According to Wikipedia, so we know it's true, Regis merged with LaSalle HS in 1998 to form Xavier HS. (Which, eerily, is also the name of another Jesuit high school in Manhattan that happens to be Regis's arch-rival.) The former grounds of the Cedar Rapids Regis is now occupied by Regis Middle School.

And while this has nothing to do with sports or A-Rod or even strippers, there's a new story that might momentarily knock A-Rod off the cover of the Post -- the father of JonBenet Ramsey is dating Natalee Hollaway's mother. For real. Somewhere, Nancy Grace's head is about to explode.

Only in America would something as bizarre as a Ramsey-Holloway relationship occur.

Do we really care about the names of high schools???
Here is what my reaction sounds like in my head,"What?!!? Are you freakin' kidding me? I'm not sure why, but this seems incredibly wrong and twisted in a way that's difficult to define. What is wrong with these two people? They're not even from the same neighborhood! It's not like they ran into each ther at a P.T.A. meeting. They had to go looking for each other. Did they hook up through E-harmony or something? Was personality varibale number 29, 'Was your child kidnapped or killed?" Is it just me, or does everyone find this possibly the most bizarre bit of news ever?

I saw on ESPN's scroll that Clemens had to postpone his start for the Yankees because of "groin fatigue." He may not be playing, but at least he's already bonding with A-Rod.

I was wrong, the story that JonBenet's dad is dating Natalee Holloway's mom didn't make the cover of today's Post. It's only on page 3.
What happened to Mrs. Ramsey, I must've missed out on the "Free Love" or divorce announcement? Uh...that's freaky deaky...and so is Mrs. Ramsey dating Mr. Holloway? Wasn't that a movie script back in the late 60s, something about wife swapping?
