A unique take on sports news, updated several times throughout the day.
The NFL assistant coach who accidentally forwarded a pornographic e-mail attachment across the league -- including to commissioner Roger "Goody-Goody" Goodell -- finally spoke on Thursday. Basically, he's sorry. More surprisingly, he hasn't checked into rehab or blamed it on any addiction. Doesn't this guy read the papers?
One item in the New York Post's relentless digging into the "story" of A-Rod's "Stray-Rod" scandal has caught my eye. According to Friday's Post, the former "mystery blonde" is a 30-year-old exotic dancer (euphemism alert!) who was "one of the 'popular party girls' at Regis HS." What!? As loyal readers of this spot might recall, I attended Regis HS, and I certainly don't recall anyone who looked like her. The closest we came was a lissome French teacher named Mademoiselle Parker. Then again, the mystery blonde's Regis was in Iowa, not Manhattan, and was evidently co-ed rather than all boys.
Willing to read anything else about the endless Kobe Bryant saga? If so, make it this blog post from "Pyle of List" that re-imagines the to-and-fro as a movie called Kill Buss, complete with detailed casting recommendations. We would definitely like to see what Jerry Stiller does with Jerry Buss and Billy Bob Thornton's take on Phil Jackson. (How many coaches has Thornton played, anyway? At least two with Friday Night Lights and Bad News Bears. He was terrific, and quite different, in each.)

Où sont les blondes? Les blondes sont en Iowa.
Wow - first Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner, then Master's winner Zach Johnson, now A-Rod's mystery blonde? I think I went to the wrong high school.
