The Irish Invade L.A.
LOS ANGELES -- I've been here about 24 hours now, and I can tell you -- there are Notre Dame fans everywhere. At the airport. At my hotel. In restaurants. How did they all get tickets??
Speaking of Irish fans, this is the 2-month old daughter of my college friends who live in L.A (the mother hails from South Bend). She's ready for the big game tonight ... if they can wake her up in time.
Stewart you do a great job. This is my first comment. I will be going to the game later today. If you are wondering why there are so many Irish fans here are the reasons. Number 1- USC gives Notre Dame close to 30,000 tickets. Don't ask why? Number Two- I am not proud to admit, but USC love selling tickets in stubhub, ebay, etc. Plus, Notre Dame fans always travel well.
Why are there so many Notre Dame fans. Their enrollment is much smaller than an Ohio State or Michigan, but they seem to have fans all over the place. Are most of the fans just because of the tradition?
