Well since you put the Chris Weber Timeout, how about an apology from the refs in that game for not calling traveling on Weber about 20 seconds before he called the timeout as he walked in plain view of the refs, the thousands in attendance and millions watching on tv.

Bill Cowher for that miserable lame duck season he put in last year. It was painfully obvious that he just mailed it in - he really ought to give the Rooney's back his salary for the season.

How about an apology from the Russians for stealing the Olympic gold from the USA in men's basketball in 1972? The American players still refuse to accept their silver medals because they know they deserve the gold.

The fans in South Florida-for never supporting a team like the Marlins...and for continuing to support a team like the Dolphins.
Posted: 4:00 PM   by Drew
Isiah Thomas, for creating the worst team, dollar for dollar, in the history of pro sports...And in the process, handcuffing the Knicks organization to a bunch of longterm, overinflated contracts until 2009. Nicely done!

Don Denkinger for handing the Royals the 1985 World Series with his blow call in Game 6.

I would like to see Emerson Fitipalid apologize for drinking orange juice in victory lane at the 1993 Indy 500 instead of the customary bottle of milk. Nowhere in sports is tradition more prevelant and part of the event than the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the running of the Indy 500. It was not the place nor the time to plug your investment in the OJ industry. If you don't want to take part in the tradition of the event, either don't win, or better yet, don't race there. The Hulman family should have started a new tradtion that day. If you don't drink the milk, you are awarded last place with last place payout.

Ralph Wilson for letting go Bill Polian.

Just a thought about #9: "The NHL, for taking teams out of Canada and for putting teams in places like Phoenix and Columbus." Hello, have you even been to Phoenix? Do you know anything about the area or the people? There are a lot of transplants... usually from the Upper Midwest and the Great Lakes regions... people like myself... from Minnesota that now live in the Phoenix area! Oh, wait, I forgot... no reason to put a hockey team in the desert. I gave up all the sports I used to like in Minnesota as soon as I got here. Fishing, baseball, football, basketball, and or course hockey So, everyone else must have done the same thing!

Posted: 6:05 PM   by Anonymous
How about every Boston Red Soxs fan apologizing to Buckner. As if his life hasnt been hell because of that, it was a complete accident. Not a dumb play, just an unlucky one. No one deserves as much crap as Buckner has received, now I want an apology from cnnsi for putting him on this list.

For every MLB team EXCEPT the Pirates that has sold out to hip-hop and uses black in their uniforms as an actual color or a drop shadow for their logos/player's names - ESPECIALLY the METS
Posted: 9:58 AM   by Anonymous
Canadien sports fans: For continually and openly insulting America. Clearly Canada doesn't have what it takes to support NHL Hockey. Without cities like Dallas, Phoenix, and Other great Southern Cities, pro hockey would already be a footnote in Sports History. Show some class and be grateful.
