What recruiting tricks does Urban Meyer use to lure the nation's top players to Florida?

Signing day has come and gone and as Stewart Mandel writes, the winners are the new breed of coaches/salesmen who are doing everything in their power to lure in top recruits. Chief among this new generation are USC coach Pete Carroll and Florida coach Urban Meyer (whose recruiting classes were No. 1 and 2 respectively according to Rivals.com, as well as Illinois’ Ron Zook, Tennessee's Phillip Fulmer and Texas coach Mack Brown. Top prospects such as twin offensive linemen Maurkice and Michael Pouncey (Lakeland, Fla)., who originally committed to Florida State after their sophomore years of high school, are switching to schools (Florida in this instance) where the coach is more hands on and kept in constant touch with the recruits (as opposed to FSU coach Bobby Bowden, who spoke with the twins only once during the entire year they were committed.
As this example shows, the times are changing in college football and the recruiting wars are only going to get more intense in the coming years. Today, we want to hear your recruiting stories. What goes on during campus visits? Who are the most persistent coaches? What's the most outlandish thing a coach had done to lure in a recruit? Let's hear your stories.
In 2004, Chris Duhon's last-second layup was the difference in the Blue Devils' 83-81 victory. What's your favorite UNC-Duke memory?

Another chapter in college basketball's best rivalry was written last night as the fifth-ranked Tar Heels took out No. 18 Duke, 79-73. The game lacked the drama of past matchups, but hopefully that can be rectified tonight when the women face off. And if you haven't been paying attention, The Lady Devils are currently the top-ranked team in the nation, followed closely by UNC at No. 2.
Even if tonight's game fails to live up to the hype, there are plenty of Duke-UNC moments to look back on. Here are some of our favorite moments from the rivalry:
Though it was a bit before our time, the 1974 double overtime classic -- aka the "Miracle in Chapel Hill" –- saw UNC pull of an 8-0 run in the final 17 seconds of regulation, including Walter Davis' 35-foot bank shot at the buzzer to force the first OT.
In 1995, UNC pulls out a double OT victory on a long jumper by Donald Williams and a steal and layup by Jeff McInnis. The most memorable part of this game was a ridiculous reverse dunk by Jerry Stackhouse, which remains one of the best college dunks we've ever seen.
In 2004, during Roy Williams' first UNC-Duke game, Chris Duhon drove the length of the floor and hit a last second layup to give the Blue Devils an 83-81 win. What's remarkable about this game is the lame way it ended. Not to say that a last-second layup is lame, but UNC -- the underdog -- fought hard the whole game only to lose when they failed to heed the most basic defensive principle of them all: Stop the ball.
Those are our favorite Duke-UNC moments. What are yours?
Noel Devine's breakout performance at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl made him one of the nation's top recruits. Who else are you looking forward to seeing next year?

Last Friday, SI.com's Stewart Mandel wrote about Noel Devine, one of the nation's top high school recruits who one scout described as "the best high school player I've ever seen, and that includes Reggie Bush." Judging from this highlight reel (or this one or this one), it's easy to see why coaches and scouts are so excited. Although nobody is sure where (or if) Devine will play next year, there are plenty of other recruits to get excited about. According to the Rivals100, here are the nation's Top 10 high school recruits:
1. Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame 2. Joe McKnight, RB, undecided 3. Eric Berry, DB, Tennessee 4. Ryan Mallett, QB, Michigan 5. Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida 6. Everson Griffen, DE, USC 7. Marvin Austin, DT, undecided 8. Ronald Johnson, WR/CB, USC 9. Torrey Davis, DT, Florida 10. Josh Oglesby, OL, Wisconsin
Today, we want to know which recruits will have the biggest impact next season … and don’t just tell us! Send us your Youtube highlight reels so we can see for ourselves if you’ve got the next Reggie Bush … or Noel Devine heading to your school.
