SI: You sung at the Grey Cup earlier this year. Is that good preparation for a Super Bowl?

Twain: I guess it would be similar, but I've done so many different types of performances that I just go out and do my thing. The biggest thing about the Super Bowl is that the vibe is going to be so cool. It's a first for me. When you have so many people sitting around eating chili dogs and drinking beer, it's a vibe.

SI: U2 played at halftime of last year's Super Bowl. WIll you ask Bono for any advice on how to play this gig?

Twain: No. I've been performing my whole life. I think I can manage.

SI: Is there any sporting event that you would like to attend that you haven't yet?

Twain: I'd like to see the Olympics live. I've only watched it on television.

SI: Will you stay for the whole Super Bowl?

Twain: I think I will. I love live games. I enjoy sports in person. And I like football. I played a lot of football when I was younger. I'm a good receiver, actually.

SI: Your husband, Mutt, is a rabid fan of English soccer. Does he have a favorite club team?

Twain: He follows Manchester United very closely and he likes to watch France play. I like the Italian team, personally, because they're the best looking.

SI: Is there one athlete you would like to meet?

Twain: Gee, it's hard to say because I've already met quite a few. But I'd go with Michael Jordan. I'd love to meet him.

SI: Of all the athletes you've met, who has stood out?

Twain: Wayne Gretzky is a very impressive person. He's a humble person. He's a very unassuming athlete. He's not your typical jock. He stayed Canadian and I always liked that.

SI: McDonald's made you an honorary employee for life. What does that entitle you to?

Twain: All the burgers I'm not going to eat as a vegetarian.

SI: I saw something that said 47 percent of the songs on your album Up! have an exclamation point in the title. What's up with all the exclamation points?

Twain: I'm expressive. I want to punctuate those lyrics.

SI: Generally, is it good advice for a woman to say to a man: Come On Over?

Twain: Well, I wouldn't say it's good advice to say that to a man. I think it's our right to say that quite freely and to be the initiators. So, I would say it's good advice to initiate things if you're interested in a guy.

SI: Your husband used to work out to your songs before he married you. Does he still listen to your music while he's exercising?

Twain: Yeah, he still listens to my stuff when he's exercising.

SI: Would you ever do a duet or a video with Eminem?

Twain: Yeah (Laughs). I wouldn't say never.

SI: You rode horses as a kid and now you own five horses. Have you ever made a bet at the track?

Twain: No, I'm not into that.
