Tishay Lewis, Savannah Basketball Lewis, a junior forward at Armstrong Atlantic State University, led the Lady Pirates to their first Division II tournament. This season she averaged 18 points and 8.3 rebounds, had 64 assists, 91 steals and 29 blocks and was named Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year.
Alistair Cragg, Fayetteville, Ark. Track and Field Cragg, a junior distance runner at the University of Arkansas, helped the Razorbacks win their 17th NCAA indoor track title. At the championships he won the 5,000-meter race in the school-record time of 13:28.93.
Lindsey Smith, Dexter, Mich. Swimming Lindsey, a senior at Dexter High, led the Dreadnaughts to the Division II Lower Peninsula title by winning the 200 individual medley and 100-yard freestyle in meet record time. Lindsey was named Division II Swimmer of the Year.
Delby Powless, Six Nations, Ont.

Powless, a junior attacker at Rutgers, scored seven goals in a 13-8 win over Navy, as the Scarlet Knights got off to a 6-0 start. Rutgers, who finished 2-12 last season, is now ranked No. 9 in the country, its highest ranking since 1990.
Jesse Egan, Pepperell, Mass. Field Hockey Egan, a senior goalkeeper at Clark University, led the country in goals-against average (.56) and set a school record with 15 shutouts, as the Cougars finished at 19-4, their best season ever. She had never played field hockey before her junior year.
Don Patrick, Fulton, N.Y. Ice Hockey Patrick, a junior center at Oswego State, scored the winning goal as the Lakers defeated six-time defending champs Plattsburgh State 5-3 and won SUNY's Athletic Conference title. This season he had 15 goals and 41 assists, averaging nearly two points per game.
Jeremy Brown, Baltimore Baseball Brown, a senior righthander at Johns Hopkins, threw a seven-inning no-hitter against Lakeland College, striking out 12 and walking one batter. The 9-0 victory was the sixth no-hitter in his school's 120-year history.
