Caleb Fetui, Aiea, Hawaii
Volleyball
Fetui, a sophomore opposite at Hope International University, led his team in total kills (297), kills per game (4.43) and service aces (39) as the Royals won their second consecutive National Christian College Athletic Championship.
Libby Hysell, Colfax, Iowa
Softball
Hysell, a righthanded pitcher and recent graduate of Central College, led the Dutch to a fourth Division III title. She went 17-0 this season and holds school records for career shutouts (33) and ERA (0.70). She is the Honda Division III Woman Athlete of the Year.
Mary Proulx, Ashland, N.H.
Track and Field
Proulx, a recent graduate of Keene State College, claimed her fifth national title by winning the 10,000 meters in 34:08.39 at the NCAA Division III Championships. Earlier this season she set a division record in the 10,000 (33:21.80).
Adam Chamie, Cape May, N.J.
Powerlifting
Chamie, 28, a lieutenant in the U.S. Coast Guard, won the AAU Bench Press Nationals in Vista, Calif., in the raw open division. Chamie benched 350.53 pounds, breaking his own world AAU record and the American record.
Ryan Baca, Richmond, Texas
Golf
Baca, 20, shot an 11-under-par 277 at the Dallas Athletic Club's Blue Course to win his second consecutive Texas State Amateur Golf Championship. A junior at Baylor, he was All-Big 12 and an All-America honorable mention last season.
Brooke Diamond, Longmeadow, Mass.
Lacrosse
Diamond, a goalie and recent graduate of Amherst, made 45 saves in four NCAA Division III tournament games, leading the Lord Jeffs to their first national championship in women's lacrosse. She was named most outstanding player of the tournament.
Drew Morano, Paola, Kans.
Track and Field
Morano, a recent graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High, won the 100, 200 and 400 meters at the Kansas 6A state meet in Wichita. He is the second runner to win all three races in the 6A event and the first since 1990.
