Andy Roddick, Tennis

Where you've seen him: Last year he became the youngest player to reach the U.S. Open's men's quarterfinals since Andre Agassi in 1988. Roddick also successfully defended his U.S. Clay Court Championship title -- one of five pro titles he holds -- against Pete Sampras in April. All this and he only turned pro in 2000, rising from No. 160 to No. 14 in the world rankings in just a year.

How he prepared for this shoot: "Normally I wear a hat when I'm playing tennis, so when I get to a shoot like this I need the stylist to take the lead, since my hair is a mess."
