A Luke Moore hat-trick and another goal by Kevin Phillips piled on the pressure for Steve McClaren who vowed later in the week to lead the club out of trouble: "We all go through this, it's about how you come through it. I'm determined to come through it, I'm determined to fight my way through it, I'm determined to bring the players with me and fight anybody until we do." Boro were boosted in midweek by a 1-0 win over Coventry City in their FA Cup replay. Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's first-half strike proved sufficient. This Saturday, though, Boro face the toughest test with visit from Chelsea. Boro lost 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in December.
