Streak: Won 1 Next Game: at FC Cologne, February 12 Borussia Dortmund could well be back in Europe next season, at least if they can keep up the momentum that has taken them to within a point of fifth place in early 2006. Bert van Marwijk's side are growing in confidence and Tuesday's 2-0 win over Duisburg has put his side into pole position in the chase for European football. On Sunday, Dortmund are involved in their third straight local derby and, after picking up four points in the last two games, will be confident of bearing the flag for North Rhein Westphalia again in Cologne. The injury list is beginning to shorten and both Christoph Metzelder and Delron Buckley are available on Saturday, however van Marwijk is unlikely to change a winning side. That leaves youngster Salvatore Gambino in attack alongside converted midfielder Ebi Smolarek who with 12 goals this season has proved his scoring capabilities. Sebastian Kehl and Christian Worns continue to impress in World Cup year and are almost certain to be in Jurgen Klinsmann's next squad selection as they blossom in a bright Borussia side.
