NAPERVILLE, Illinois (Ticker) -- Jesse March scored the go-ahead goal in the 61st minute, lifting the Chicago Fire to a 3-1 victory over D.C. United.
March snapped a 1-1 tie, beating goalkeeper Nick Rimando from about 30 yards.
Ante Razov and DeMarcus Beasley also scored for the Fire, who extended their unbeaten streak to five games (3-0-2). Chicago also snapped a five-game winless streak against D.C. United.
Hristo Stoitchkov scored on a penalty kick in the 40th minute for Chicago, which had its three-game winning streak stopped.
