PARIS (AP) -- Bordeaux's Jerome Bonnissel scored an accidental goal against his own side Sunday to give Olympique Lyonnais a last-minute 1-0 victory that helped it leap into second place in the French first division standings.

At the end of the 17th round, Lens held onto the top slot in the standings with 35 points, but Lyon's Sunday win put it only two points behind.

Lyon dominated throughout the match without managing a goal. But after Lyon's free kick in the 91st minute, Bordeaux's Bonnissel accidentally knocked the ball into the net, scoring for his opponents.

Also Sunday, tiny Sochaux scored a big victory by serving Lille its first defeat at home this season. Pierre-Alain Frau scored twice to give the team a 2-1 victory, while Bruno Cheyrou scored Lille's lone goal in the 45th minute.

Paris Saint-Germain cemented its recent success in the league with a 2-0 victory against Metz. The team's two goals came in the second half: Bartholomew Ogbeche scored in the 52nd minute, while Jay-Jay Okocha lobbed the ball into the net after 88 minutes of play.

On Saturday, Guingamp toppled league leader Lens behind a 60th minute goal by striker Cedric Bardon, snatching a goal even though Lens controlled the action for most of the second half. Auxerre held third place in the standings at the end of the round, with a 2-0 victory on Saturday against a struggling Monaco.

In other action Saturday, Olympique Marseille defeated Lorient 3-2. Bottom-ranked Nantes lost again, falling 2-1 at home against Montpellier. Bastia toppled Troyes 2-0 behind goals from striker Tony Vairelles in the 47th minute and defender Morlaye Soumah five minutes later. Sedan and Rennes recorded a goalless draw.
