RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (AP) -- Striker Ademilson scored a pair of goals Saturday as Fluminense routed Flamengo 4-0 to advance the Carioca Championship final on a 5-1 aggregate score.

Fluminense, unbeaten in its last 13 matches, dominated the game at Maracana stadium, outshooting Flamengo 17-11.

Ademilson put Fluminense ahead in the 20th minute off a rebound as Flamengo goalkeeper Julio Cesar could not hold on to Djair's booming free kick from 35 meters (yards).

Midfielder Alex Oliveira scored in the 50th minute and Ademilson netted again in the 59th. Striker Fabio Bala, the tournament's leading scorer with 10 goals, came off the bench to seal the win with a penalty kick in the 72nd minute.

Flamengo defenders Fernando and Alessandro were sent off in the second half because of dangerous tackles.

Fluminense played without defender Jean Carlos and midfielder Carlos Alberto, who are playing for Brazil's under-20 squad in a friendly tournament in Malaysia. Carlos Alberto is one of Fluminense's main starters.

The first leg of the semifinals ended in a 1-1 draw on Feb. 15. Flamengo had the tiebreaker advantage coming into Saturday's match because it finished the regular season ahead of Fluminense.

Fluminense now waits for the winner of the Vasco-Americano match, which is scheduled for Sunday. Vasco beat Americano 4-1 in the first leg and can advance even if it loses by three goals.
