ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -- Turkish club Galatasaray says it is in transfer talks for Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

Galatasaray gave no other detail on Tuesday in a brief statement about its attempt to attract the Dutch playmaker.

Sneijder is in a contract dispute with Inter, which wants him to take a pay cut.

He hasn't played for Inter since September.

He was first sidelined for two months while injured, but then Inter technical director Marco Branca said he woudn't play until he made a decision about his future, with a new deal reportedly requiring him to take a pay cut.
