FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has been banned for three Bundesliga matches.

Lewandowski was sent off in the 4-1 loss to Hamburger SV on Saturday after scoring Dortmund's only goal. He got the red card for a wild swing at Hamburg's Per Ciljan Skjelbred.

The Poland striker is one of the three players topping the Bundesliga scoring chart with 14 goals this season.

Lewandowski will miss matches against Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Moenchengladbach and Hannover.
