CHICAGO (AP) -- Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman has been added to the U.S. roster for Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Honduras at Sandy, Utah.

Jermaine Jones missed this week's 2-0 win over Panama after sustaining a concussion June 7 at Panama. He was replaced in his defensive midfield role by Fabian Johnson, who likely will be shifted to left back in place of DaMarcus Beasley, suspended from next week's game because of yellow-card accumulation.

Ahead of the Panama match, the U.S. dropped forward Herculez Gomez because of an injury and midfielder Danny Williams for lack of fitness following an injury-interrupted spring.
