Fernando Torres scored a pair of goals as Atletico swept all six points from Barcelona this season. Barcelona's 14-game run fell just one victory short of Real Madrid's Liga Primera record 15-game winning streak set in the 1960-61 season. Torres has scored in four straight games against Barcelona. Argentine-teenager Lionel Messi's three-game goal-scoring streak came to an end last week. Messi picked up a thigh injury and will miss the next ten days of action. Barcelona travels to the Mestalla Sstadium this weekend to face a Valencia side eager to close the gap on Barcelona. Samuel Eto'o, La Liga's leading scorer, returns to action this weekend against Valencia, which sports the second-leading scorer in David Villa. Rumors have linked Mexican-international Rafael Marquez with a possible move to AC Milan this summer. Ronaldinho, suspended for last week's game against Atletico, is scheduled to also miss the Valencia game. However, Barcelona has field an appeal with the hopes that the Brazilian magician will be available.
