ATLANTA (CNNSI.com) -- Stoian Mladenov scored two goals to lead the Rochester Raging Rhinos to a 2-0 victory over the Hershey Wildcats in the 2001 A-League championship game.

A crowd of 13,692 fans at Frontier Field, the sixth-largest crowd in Rochester history, saw the Rhinos win their third second-division title in the past four seasons -- as well as their 16th straight playoff game.

Bulgarian midfielder Mladenov, a midseason acquisition from Minnesota, scored in the 63rd and 88th minutes to break open a tight game.

After the match, a championship medal was presented in honor of Rhinos forward Mickey Trotman, who was killed in a automobile accident Oct. 3 in his native Trinidad.
