CARY, N.C. (AP) -- Birgit Prinz scored two goals and Danielle Fotopoulos added one as the Carolina Courage beat the Washington Freedom 3-0 on Wednesday.

Staci Burt had two assists for the Courage (3-5-1), who won their second straight game.

Goalkeeper Kristin Luckenbill needed only one save to preserve the Courage's first shutout of the season.

Fotopoulos scored just 3:16 into the match and assisted on the first of Prinz's second-half goals, giving Carolina its second win in three games against Washington (5-3-1) this season.

Fotopoulos' goal -- her seventh of the season -- and assist made her the league's all-time leading scorer with 76 points. She's tied with Boston's Maren Meinert for this year's scoring lead with 20 points.

Charge 0, Power 0

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) -- New York's Saskia Webber made five saves for her second straight shutout and Philadelphia's Melissa Moore stopped two shots as New York and Philadelphia played to a scoreless tie.

The Power (4-5-1) shut out consecutive opponents for the first time since opening WUSA play with a pair of 0-0 draws in 2001. Philadelphia (2-5-2) is undefeated in its last three games.

A crowd of 2,369 was on hand, the smallest WUSA crowd in more than two years.
