45 +1' - Freekick to Spain in shooting range in front of goal. De Pedro clips a pass to the far post and Hong heads behind for a corner.  
44' - Joaquin bursts through the Korean midfield but the defense blocks his shot. De Pedro shoots wide as Spain continues to press forward.  
41' - Joaquin flashes a cross across the goal. Morientes is not far short of getting a touch as it evades Lee Woon-jae and goes out for a goal kick.  
39' - Lee Young-pyo's shot is deflected behind for a corner. Park collects a deep cross at back of penalty area but Spain quickly closes him down, winning a freekick as he loses control.  
36' - Spanish captain Hierro is receiving treatment after banging heads with Seol. But he's ok to continue.  
31' - Kim Nam-il limps off, replaced by Lee Eul-yong.  
30' - Romero gets forward to win a corner on left. Hierro is unmarked 10 yards out but his header floats over.  
26' - Morientes sends a powerful header from about 10 yards out towards top right corner from a freekick on the left. Lee Woon-jae catches it but almost falls into his own net as he crashes into the post.  
23' - Joaquin wins another freekick wide on right. Lee Woon-jae comes out to punch but it's headed away first by Lee Young-pyo.  
21' - Joaquin's run is stopped unfairly on edge of box. Hierro tries to curl one but it's straight into the wall. Morientes tries a shot on the follow-up but it's deflected into GK Lee's hands.  
19' - South Korea sweeps forward with a great passing move from the edge of its own area but Seol has drifted offside for the final ball.  
17' - Baraja tries an overhead kick from a flicked on long throw into the box but he fails to make decent contact and the ball bounces wide.  
15' - A ball from defense finds Ahn in the left corner of the Spanish box but he's slow to control it and Spain's defenders force him wide of the goal, denying him space to turn, before clearing the danger.  
14' - Hong needs treatment after a collision with a teammate.  
13' - Romero is late on Kim Nam-il, conceding a freekick in midfield but the Korean is limping a little.  
10' - Hierro slides in to concede first corner and stop Ahn's run towards goal. Baraja heads clear as the ball drops in the box.
