LONDON (AP) -- The list of major transfers in the Premier League involving foreign players in the off-season:
David Grondin, France, to Arsenal from St. Etienne for 500,000 pounds ($820,000)
Nelson Vivas, Argentina, to Arsenal from Lugano for 2.5 million pounds ($4.1 million)
Sebastien Perez, France, to Blackburn from Bastia for 3 million pounds ($4.9 million)
Brian Laudrup, Denmark, to Chelsea from Glasgow Rangers on free transfer
Pierlugi Casiraghi, Italy, to Chelsea from Lazio for 5.4 million ($8.9 million)
Albert Ferrer, Spain, to Chelsea from Barcelona for 2.2 million pounds ($3.6 million)
Marcel Desailly, France, to Chelsea from AC Milan for 4.6 million pounds ($7.6 million)
Robert Jarni, Croatia, to Coventry from Real Betis for 2.5 million pounds ($4.1 million)
Horacio Carbonari, Italy, to Derby from Atletico Rosario Centreal for 2.7 million pounds ($4.4 million)
Marco Materazzi, Italy, to Everton from Perugia for 2.75 million pounds ($4.5 million)
Olivier Dacourt, France, to Everton from Strasbourg for 4 million pounds ($6.6 million)
John Collins, Scotland, to Everton from Monaco for 2.5 million ($4.1 million)
Vegard Heggem, Norway, to Liverpool from Rosenborg for 3.5 million ($5.75 million)
Jaap Stam, Netherlands, to Manchester United from PSV Eindhoven for 10.75 million pounds ($17.7 million)
Jesper Blomqvist, Sweden, o Manchester United from Parma for 4.4 million pounds ($7.2 million)
Stephane Guivarc'h, France, to Newcastle from Auxerre for 3.5 million (5.75 million)
Laurent Charvet, France, to Newcastle from Cannes for 520,000 ($855,000)
Dieter Hamann, Germany, to Newcastle from Bayern Munich for 5.25 million pounds ($8.6 million)
Wim Jonk, Netherlands, to Sheffield Wednesday from PSV Eindhoven for 2.5 million pounds ($4.1 million)
Paolo Tramezzani, Italy, to Tottenham Hotspur from Piacenza for 1.35 million pounds ($2.4 million)
Javier Margas, Spain, to West Ham from Universidad Catolica for 2 million pounds ($3.3 million)
In Scotland, Glasgow Rangers also made some big off-season international signings, including Andrei Kanchelski from Fiorentina for 5.5 million pounds ($9 million), Arthur Numan from PSV Eindhoven for 5 million pounds ($8.22 million) and Gabriel Amato from Mallorca for 4.2 million pounds ($6.9 million).
