AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) -- Goals from substitutes Igor Korneev and Peter van Vossen eased Feyenoord Rotterdam to a 3-1 victory over MVV Maastricht Sunday.

Feyenoord joins Ajax Amsterdam, SC Heerenveen and FC Utrecht with six points from two games. Utrecht leads the Dutch premiership on goal difference after downing Cambuur Leeuwarden 3-0.

Henk Vos put Feyenoord ahead after just ten minutes with a glancing header from Jean-Paul van Gastel's free kick.

The Rotterdammers had three strong appeals for penalties during the first half, two of them as Ivory Coast winger Bonaventure Kalou broke into the box.

The most convincing saw Kalou upended by the fierce advance of MVV keeper Rein van Duijnhoven but referee Dick van Egmond was unmoved.

Danny Landzaat equalized for MVV five minutes into the second period, but then Feyenoord's subs won the game.

An individual assault on the MVV defense from Igor Korneev made it 21 as the Russian struggled through challenges from three defenders before firing home.

Peter van Vossen scored his first goal back on Dutch soil after three years at Glasgow Rangers, and it was a masterpiece.

Van Vossen picked up the ball in the center circle, beat five men with his dribble and rolled the ball home from a tight angle.

In Sunday's other games, FC Twente downed Sparta Rotterdam 1-0 and NEC Nijmegen versus NAC Breda stayed goalless.
