LONDON (AP) -- Defending titlist Real Madrid surrendered the lead and tumbled 2-1 to Spartak Moscow in the second round of Champions Cup group games Wednesday. The Spanish powerhouse failed to follow up its 2-0 victory over Inter Milan in the opening round of games as Spartak moved three points clear of its two biggest group rivals to become the only one of the 24 contenders with maximum points from two games. Inter edged Sturm Graz 1-0 thanks to a strike by French striker Youri Djorkaeff four minutes into stoppage time so that it is tied at three points with Real in the Group C standings. A late blunder by Danish goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel handed Bayern Munich a 2-2 draw with Manchester United in Group D as Barcelona moved to the top of the group with a 2-0 victory over Brondby, ironically of Denmark.
