ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- Sinisa Gogic scored one goal and Predrag Djordjevic added another as Olympiakos Piraeus beat Portugal's Porto 2-1 Wednesday in a Group A game in the Champions League.

The win, sent Olympiakos atop the group with 10 points. Ajax Amsterdam and Croatia Zagreb follow in second place the seven points each. Porto is in last place in the group with four points.

Olympiakos went on the attack from the opening kickoff and came close to opening the scoring early but Porto's goalie Silva Correia made a key save to a blistering shot by Grigoris Georgatos in the 3rd minute.

A similar chance was lost by the visitors in the 10th when Jardel's header went just wide.

Olympiakos went ahead in the score with a goal by Sinisa Gogic in the 18th.

Gogic, the scorer of Olympiakos' equalizer in the first-leg game in Portugal, dribbled past a defender before sending the ball into the goalmouth.

Porto had a major opportunity to level in the 47th, but Dimitris Eleftheropoulos saved a penalty kick taken by Drulovic.

The hosts made the score 2-0 with a free-kick by Djordjevic from outside the area in the 55th.

The visitors narrowed the difference with Zlatko Zahovic in the 76th, and Jardel failed twice in the last three minutes to level when a shot hit Olympiakos' crossbar and Eleftheropoulos saved with his foot another from three yards.
