ROME (AP) -- Pavel Nedved had a goal and assist before being ejected as Lazio snatched back first place in Serie A Sunday with a 3-1 win over Bologna, hours after previous leader Juventus was held to a 1-1 draw at AC Parma.

Nedved set up Lazio's opening goal, and his header with 14 minutes left broke a 1-1 tie. The Czech wingback rose above two Bologna defenders to knock n a well-placed cross from Portuguese midfielder Sergio Conceicao.

Chile's Marcelo Salas, who later left with an apparent rib injury, scored Lazio's first goal in the 42nd minute, heading the ball into an empty net after a Nedved shot caromed off the crossbar. Recently acquired Fabrizio Ravanelli notched his first goal in a Lazio jersey in the game's final moments.

Lazio (10-4-2), rebounding from Wednesday's stunning 2-0 loss to lowly Venezia, improved to 34 points, one ahead of Juventus and three in front of Parma. Juventus (9-6-1) had pulled into first place alone for the first time all season on Thursday.

Juventus was leading nine-man Parma 1-0 when Argentine striker Hernan Crespo knocked in a dramatic injury-time goal to salvage the draw and stay atop the scoring leaders with 12 goals.

Three other title contenders failed to pick up wins in night games. AS Roma (8-5-3, 29 points) and AC Milan (7-7-2, 28 points) fought to a 2-2 draw, while Internazionale of Milan (8-2-6, 26 points) lost 2-1 at Fiorentina on Daniele Adani's last-minute goal.

Elsewhere Sunday, Cagliari got its first win of the season, beating Piacenza 3-0; Udinese dealt Perugia its second straight 5-0 loss; Bari beat Venezia 3-0; Torino lost its sixth straight game, 2-1 to Lecce; and Verona and Reggina battled to a 1-1 draw.

Milan 2, Roma 2

At Milan, where Roma last won in 1987, Spanish forward Jose Mari came off the bench to head in the tying goal for Milan with 23 minutes left. German striker Oliver Bierhoff had the other goal -- his eighth of the season -- for Milan, which twice rallied from one-goal deficits.

Vincenzo Montella, who had a hat-trick for Roma on Thursday, set up his side's first goal at San Siro Stadium and scored the second.

Fiorentina 2, Inter 1

At Florence, Adani put in a goal from close range after a corner kick to give Fiorentina (5-7-4) its first win in four games.

Fiorentina took the lead in the 37th minute when Enrico Chiesa's cross went beyond 'keeper Angelo Peruzzi's outstretched hand and Argentine striker Gabriel Batistuta headed it into the empty net. Uruguay's Alvaro Recoba temporarily evened the match for Inter in the 71st with a curving free kick that froze 'keeper Francesco Toldo.

Inter forward Christian Vieri, the world's most expensive player, was sent off after an angry clash with Czech Tomas Repka, who was also dismissed.

Lazio 3, Bologna 1

At Rome, Lazio's return to first place came as the club celebrated its centennial. Lazio was founded on Jan. 9, 1900, and stars from the team's past on hand at Olympic Stadium included Giorgio Chinaglia, a striker on the 1974 champions.

Swedish striker Kennet Andersson headed in a cross from Giuseppe Signori five minutes into the second half to even the match at 1-1 for Bologna (5-5-6).

Salas was injured in front of the Bologna goal 10 minutes into the second half, and was taken off the field holding his right side.

Nedved was ejected after receiving his second yellow card for arguing a non-call after a tackle by rookie defender Alessandro Gamberini. The field was littered with debris, including plastic water bottles, tossed from the stands by angry home fans.

An employee for a television network was taken to the hospital after being hit by a firecracker thrown from the Lazio stands toward the Bologna goal 11 minutes into the first half.

Parma 1, Juventus 1

At Parma, where Juventus hasn't won since 1995, the visitors had taken the lead in the 69th minute on Alessandro Del Piero's penalty kick, his first goal in more than two months. All three of the striker's goals this season have been penalty kicks.

Juventus earned the penalty shot when Parma defender Stefano Torrisi took down striker Filippo Inzaghi in front of the goal. The defender, who hurt his left leg on the play and was taken off on a stretcher, was ejected for his last-man foul on Inzaghi.

Before a Tardini Stadium-record crowd of 29,700, Parma then had to play the final 13 minutes two men down, after midfielder Dino Baggio was rd-carded for a hard foul on winger Gianluca Zambrotta.

"Juventus was superior in general, but the fact that we were able to change the result is an incredible injection of confidence for us," Parma coach Alberto Malesani said.

The Parma-Juventus match began at 1 p.m., a rare early start on a day with nine matches.

Cagliari 3, Piacenza 0

At Cagliari, Belgian striker Luis Oliveira scored three minutes into the second half, and Cameroon's Patrick Mboma scored twice in the final minutes for the hosts (1-7-8). Piacenza (2-5-9) is 0-1-7 on the road.

Udinese 5, Perugia 0

At Perugia, Udinese (6-4-6) raced to a 4-0 lead within 41 minutes. Perugia dropped to 6-2-8.

Bari 3, Venezia 0

At Bari, Nigerian teenager Hugo Enyinnaya scored one goal and earned a penalty kick that was converted by Sweden's Daniel Andersson, while Simone Perrotta had the other goal for Bari (6-5-5), which remained undefeated at home. Venezia (3-3-10) is winless on the road.

Lecce 2, Torino 1

At Torino, where Lecce (6-4-6) had never won, Cristiano Lucarelli scored twice, including a low-riding blast to break a 1-1 tie in the closing seconds. Torino is 3-5-8.

Verona 1, Reggina 1

At Verona, Brazilian striker Adailton knocked in a penalty kick with 14 minutes left to salvage the draw for the hosts (4-4-8). Andrea Pirlo put Reggina (3-7-6) ahead in the 38th minute with a free kick that glanced off the crossbar, a post and Verona 'keeper Sebastien Frey before finding the net.
