| The man that spent seven virtually injury-free seasons with Southend United has had a horrendous time with injuries since joining Charlton from the Essex club.A keeper with undoubted ability, he has had little opportunity to show his skills at The Valley, missing the whole of the 1999/2000 season through injury.He did make the final 10 reserve team fixtures last season and is expected to push Dean Kiely all the way for a first team place in the Premiership.An imposing figure at 6ft 2in and over 13 stone, Royce has the natural instinct to stand up to opposing forwards and is an excellent shot stopper. |
