| The winger is one of the few Dick Advocaat signings that has failed to prove himself. Ironically, Kanchelskis has been the Dutchman's most expensive signing to date. Kanchelskis has struggled to impress Advocaat at Ibrox, and his first-team outings have largely come via the bench. Nevertheless there have been occasional flashes of the form that he dispalyed whilst at Old Trafford and Goodison Park, most notably in a Scottish Cup tie against Ayr last season when his dazling ball skills helped Rangers to an unprecedented 7-0 win. |
