| The youngster is considered to be Scotland's brightest prospect, following his breakthrough into Celtic's first-team squad last season. To the annoyance of the fans, and the player himself, the majority of his 32 League appearances were limited to coming off the bench late in a game, but he still found the net six times. Celtic were insistant that their young hopeful would not be rushed, and after putting pen to a long-term contract at Parkhead, Burchill has time on his side as he attempts to lead the line up front.
