| Without scoring a great number of goals for a striker, Stavrum has made a big impact in his time at Pittodrie. His arrival, along with a batch of other foreign signings by boss Ebbe Skovdahl, coincided with the club's change in fortune midway through the 1999 - 00 season. Skovdahl is finally beginning to build the team he wants at Aberdeen and Stavrum looks set to be a major part of his plan.He creates chances and finds space in behind defences and was top scorer at former club Helsingborgs before he left for Pittodrie. However, recent injuries have limited his number of appearances and Aberdeen have been missing his powerful influence inside the penalty box. |
