Rod Wallace
Rangers
Born: 10/02/69
Hometown: Lewisham
Rod wallace was one of Dick Advocaat's shrewdest buys when he arrived at Ibrox on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling at the beginning of the 1998-99 season. He finished Rangers top scorer and bagged the goal that clinched the Treble in the Scottish Cup Final against Celtic that season. However with the arrival of Michale Mols and Billy Doods, wallace's form dipped a little towrds the end of season 1999-00, although Advocaat still has plenty of confidence in the striker. He will have to battle hard for his first-team place this season with Mols returning from injury and Dodds and new signing Kenny Miller eager to hold down a regular starting place.
